Four steps, one order.

A diner scans the code on the table and reads the menu in Amharic or English.

They send it themselves, or a waiter takes the order on the sales register.

It prints in the kitchen and at the bar, and the board shows what is still to make.
Receipt
The cashier settles it in cash or by mobile money, and the receipt prints.
At closing time

Every sale is recorded under the person who rang it. The day’s figures are ready when you are.
Per waiter, per cashier
Orders taken, cash taken, mobile payment taken, and what is still owed.

Questions
What a restaurant asks first.
- What does Easymaz do?
- It is a sales register for cafés and restaurants in Ethiopia. It takes orders, prints in the kitchen, takes payment, prints the receipt and reports who took what.
- Are Easymaz receipts compliant with Directive 1142/2026?
- Not yet. The Ministry of Revenues has not published how receipts are registered in real time. Easymaz already prints your TIN, VAT number, FS and MRC and logs every sale; registration switches on when the rules are out.
- Which payments does Easymaz support?
- Cash, and Chapa for cards and mobile money.
- Is Easymaz available in Amharic?
- Yes. The menu, the sales register and the reports are in Amharic and English. Receipt printers have no Amharic letters, so the printed receipt spells Amharic item names in Latin letters.
- How much does a restaurant POS cost in Ethiopia?
- Easymaz Core is 224,200 ETB for the licence and mini PC. Turnkey is the same licence, 124,200 ETB, plus equipment and installation quoted on the day. VAT included.
